About the Role
Cobblestone Golf Club is seeking a Clubhouse Maintenance Assistant to join our team. This position will be responsible for maintaining clean, functional areas and throughout the Club for use by members, their guests and fellow employees. This position supports the Facilities Maintenance Director in the daily operation, upkeep, and overall appearance of the facility. The role combines hands-on housekeeping responsibilities with general maintenance assistance to ensure the property remains clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times during assigned shifts.

Key Responsibilities
Facilities Support
Assist the Facilities Maintenance Director with routine maintenance tasks and work ordersHelp with inspections of building systems, grounds, and equipmentReport maintenance issues promptly and assist with basic repairs when neededSupport setup and breakdown for events or special facility needs
Housekeeping Duties (Primary Daily Focus During Shift)
Maintain cleanliness of clubhouse, restrooms, offices, locker rooms, and common areasPerform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and sanitizing surfacesRestock supplies (paper goods, soap, etc.) throughout the facilityEnsure all public-facing areas remain neat, presentable, and guest-ready at all timesAddress cleaning needs as they arise throughout the shift (not just scheduled cleaning rounds)
General Expectations
Work cooperatively with maintenance and operations staff as part of a teamMaintain a proactive approach to cleanliness and facility appearanceFollow safety procedures and report hazards immediatelyProvide a high level of service and attention to detail in a hospitality environment

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Electrical certification preferred.
