About the Role
Bridlewood Golf Course is seeking a friendly Experienced Bartender/Server to join our family who can deliver excellent customer service while giving our guests a great experience. The Server will be responsible for taking food and drink orders from customers, and then delivering those orders to the proper people in the restaurant/bar. If you have previous experience as a Server in a high profile restaurant and a dedication to providing excellent service to customers, we want to hear from you.
Restaurant Bar/Server responsibilities and duties. Be enthusiastic, outgoing, positive and upbeat.
Greeting guests, executing food and drink orders (including taking the order, suggestive selling, ringing in the order, delivering food and drinks to the table, checking back for re-orders, pre-bussing, and settling the check properly.
Ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner
Learn and maintain knowledge of food and beverage menus.
Accommodating and willing to go the extra mile.
Promotion of events and specials to build rapport and promote the good will and profitability of the business.
Work closely with restaurant management to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experience
Confirm orders with the chefs and bartenders whenever a clarification is requested
Assist with setting tables and rearranging tables to accommodate larger parties
Any other duty/responsibility that management may deem necessary.
Restaurant Server Qualifications and Skills
High school diploma/GED required
2+ years’ Server experience preferred
Must be able to work on your feet all day
Strong customer service skills required
Must have legible handwriting
Must have ability to obtain a Food Handlers & TABC Certificate
Ability to utilize a restaurant POS software platform a plus
Any other duty/responsibility that management may deem necessary
Ability to effectively communicate in the English language. Must be able to read and understand the menu, write and ring in tickets, and utilize a computerized register system. Must be able to suggestively sell menu items. Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in order to entertain.

Must attend Orientation and agree to policies and procedures as outlined in the Bridlewood's training materials. Must attend and successfully complete the Bridlewood training program prior to working a shift without supervision. Must successfully attend and complete any and all other required training in compliance with local and state regulations, such as food and/or alcohol service certifications.

While performing the duties of this role, the Bridlewood's Server is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or carry objects, product, or controls; and talk or hear. The Frankie’s Server frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. Our Servers are occasionally required to sit. They must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this role, the Bridlewood's Server is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles from the kitchen. The Bridlewood’s Server is also occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, when in the dish area or walk-in cooler, and sometimes uses toxic or caustic chemicals when cleaning. The noise level at Bridlewood is usually loud.
This position pays $8 per hour + tips.
Our Bar/Servers average $21.00 per hour (calculated from customer Credit Card usage only)
At Bridlewood's Servers average 21.16% tip average as well (calculated from customer Credit Card usage only)
