About the role
About the role Duininck Golf offers a hands-on internship for students interested in the construction industry. You will report to an on-site Project Superintendent and gain experience across various aspects of golf course development. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position.
What you'll do
Shadow Project Superintendents, Estimators, Project Managers, and the General Manager. Work with laborers on all parts of golf course construction. Manage small crews and assist with scheduling and critical path timelines. Join construction meetings with owners, architects, and engineers. Read as-built plans and assist with surveying. Document daily activities and perform safety checks. Complete estimating and quantity takeoffs.
What you'll need
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds. Capability to walk, bend, kneel, lift, stretch, and sit for extended periods. Willingness to travel and work extended hours, including Saturdays. Commitment to following all safety regulations and Personal Protective Equipment requirements.
Location & details
Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role is on-site and requires travel, as project locations vary. You may need to relocate out of state.
