Marketing Sales Manager (Charlotte-Metro Area)
Location: Remote (Field-based across Charlotte, Gastonia, and Monroe)
Commitment: Part-Time (Minimum 20 hours per week)
Compensation: Base Salary + Performance-Based Commission
The Role: Monster Growth Specialist
Are you a high-energy "people person" who loves building community connections? Monster Mini Golf is looking for a Marketing Sales Manager to lead our outreach efforts across our three locations in the Charlotte-metro area.
This is a flexible, remote-first position designed for a self-starter who prefers being out in the community rather than sitting behind a desk. You will be the face of Monster Mini Golf, connecting with local businesses/organizatioins, event organizers, schools, PTAs, and youth organizations to book legendary field trips/events, high-impact fundraisers, and our unique Mobile Monster Mini Golf experience.
Primary Responsibilities
• Educational & Youth Outreach: Build and maintain relationships with Gaston County Public Schools (GCPS), Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS), and Union County Public Schools (UCPS) to book Field Trips and specialized family events (e.g., Mother/Son or Family Nights).
• Community Event Participation: Identify, secure, and attend high-traffic Charlotte-area events (festivals, farmers' markets, youth sports opening days) to represent the brand and capture new leads.
• Mobile Sales Leads: Proactively sell and coordinate the Mobile Monster Mini Golf unit for corporate activations, school festivals, birthday celebrations and community fairs. You manage the "glow on the go!"
• Fundraising Partnerships: Pitch our turnkey "Spirit Night" and digital fundraising programs, helping local non-profits and schools raise money with our generous 30% give-back model.
• Lead Generation & CRM: Maintain a consistent pipeline of outreach, following up with past clients and hunting for new partnership opportunities across the metro area.
What We’re Looking For
The Charlotte Connection: Deep knowledge of the Charlotte-metro area and existing connections within local school districts or youth sports leagues is a massive plus.
• The Hustle: You are a self-starter who can manage your own schedule and hit outreach targets without being micromanaged.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills. You can pitch a professional fundraiser to a board of directors just as easily as you can engage a crowd at a street festival.
• Reliable Transportation: Since this is a remote field role, you must have a reliable vehicle to travel between Charlotte, Gastonia, and Monroe territories.
• Experience: 2+ years in outbound sales, event planning, or community relations.
Why Join the Horde?
• Remote Flexibility: A portion of your work can be from home, but a portion will also need to in the field with a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week, allowing for an excellent work-life balance. This position is not full remote and will require that you live in the Charlotte-metro area.
• Earning Potential: Receive a steady base salary plus a potentially commission structure based on the events and mobile units you book.
• The "Fun" Factor: You’re selling a product that nurtures fun and creating memorable moments for humans of all ages, that literally glows in the dark. It’s a high-energy environment where creativity is rewarded.
• Perks: Free mini golf, arcade play, and discounts for your family and friends.
