Duties
Deliver food promptly from the kitchen to banquet halls or dining areas, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
Assist with food preparation and plating as needed to support kitchen staff during busy service times
Clear tables efficiently by bussing dishes and resetting tables for new guests or event sessions
Support banquet service by setting up tables, arranging utensils, glassware, and linens to meet event specifications
Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and billing when required
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and event coordinators to coordinate timely service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, ensuring food safety standards are upheld at all times
Skills
Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or banquet environments with a strong understanding of guest needs
Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations to ensure hygiene standards are maintained
Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and transaction processing
Previous kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, including cooking or food preparation skills
Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest experiences
Experience with bussing, food delivery, and supporting catering or hotel banquet functions is highly desirable
