## Golf Pro Shop Attendant/Assistant
We're looking for a Part Time Golf Pro Shop Attendant/Assistant to join our team at $15/hour. This position reports to the Director of Golf and Hospitality and is essential to keeping our pro shop running smoothly.
### Your Role
Your mission is straightforward: serve the needs of residents, visitors, and staff by offering information and assistance in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner. You'll be the welcoming face of Freedom Fairways, greeting members, guests, and the general public with warmth and professionalism. Maintaining a neat personal appearance and dressing appropriately sets the tone for how our community is perceived.
### What You'll Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities include answering telephones and accepting tee time reservations for both golf and pickle ball. You'll maintain all required daily reports, which means counting cash receipts daily, recording the counts in the appropriate report, and turning in receipts to the Freedom Plaza Accounting Department. You'll complete the Golf Revenue Daily Work Sheet and keep the pro shop looking its best through regular dusting, counter wiping, carpet vacuuming, and proper trash disposal.
Beyond the operational tasks, you'll support the company's Safety Program by practicing good safety habits and reporting any unsafe conditions to your supervisor. The pro shop environment reflects our commitment to hospitality and attention to detail.
### What We're Looking For
You'll need either a high school diploma or GED, or alternatively, 1 year of experience in Golf Operations. Mathematical skills are important—you should be comfortable adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing numbers and making correct change on monetary transactions.
More importantly, you embody our hospitality culture. We embrace a philosophy that guides how we interact with everyone: greeting residents, employees, and guests warmly by name and with a smile; treating everyone with courteous respect; anticipating needs and acting accordingly; listening and responding enthusiastically in a timely manner; holding ourselves and one another accountable; embracing and valuing our differences; making people feel important; asking "Is there anything else I can do for you?"; maintaining high levels of professionalism in both conduct and appearance; and paying attention to details.
### Schedule and Benefits
Weekends are required for this position. We offer benefits including 401(k), an employee assistance program, employee discount, and health insurance.
