POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The ideal candidate must be capable of learning our systems with minimal supervision. He or she should be extremely organized and have great time management skills. Knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Customer Service is a must.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Directly To: Club Accountant/ General Manager
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Club Accounting/Finance
Responsible for the preparation of weekly/monthly reporting packages
Cash flow forecasting/reporting and other accounting related functions, as required
Process AR club membership
Provide assistance in researching variances
Process daily cash and daily banking of deposits
Daily balancing of cash and credit card payments
Process daily accounts payables for payment
Assist with the submitting of all HR reports and employee files
Assist with the bi-weekly payroll process
Assist members with statement inquiries
Review aging and assist with contacting members for updated credit card / ACH information.
Assist with review of membership accounts for age changes for category dues & dependent aging out.
Provide member assistance for needs related to Club Automation & Trackman Performance Studio.
Understanding of P.O.S. Systems and basic IT systems to assist departments with correct setup of sales items.
Corporate Accounting/Finance
Assist club accountant with the preparation of weekly & month end reporting packages
Coordinating and communicating with the Corporate Accounting team as needed for cash and credit card transactions, AR, AP, preparing and issuing financial reports monthly in a timely manner, and other specific requests as needed.
Provide input to forecasting and budgeting projects as needed
Computer Systems
Become knowledgeable in all pertinent accounting related software

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
Degree in accounting and/or finance is preferred
Minimum 2 years relevant accounting and operational experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to plan and adhere to deadlines and forecast
Must be able to work in a team environment and provide outstanding customer service to all internal and external customers
Must be able to multitask and follow-up on issues as necessary
Must demonstrate a positive attitude at all times
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
Work Location: In person
