Position Description Server Job Summary: full and part-time positions Managethe service of members and guest in the dining rooms. Have a keen eye fordetail and provides exceptional service to members/guests. Reports to: Dining Room Manager, AssistantManager Duties: • Setsup server station and performs assigned opening duties. • Attendspre-shift meeting. • Providesimmediate attention to all members and guests of Wicker Point Golf Club. • Workingknowledge of all food and beverage items, including daily features and specials. • Takesmember/guest food and drink orders. • Promptlydelivers orders to the kitchen while conveying specific cooking instructions. • Assistsfood runner with assembling food on a tray when needed. • Servesmeals, places dishes by course in front of the correct person. • Timelychecks back to ensure member/guest satisfaction; replenish what is needed. • Removesunnecessary or finished items and dishes. • Suggestsand serves dessert, coffee, and after-dinner drinks. • Consistentlyensures all stations and dining room areas remain neat and clean. • Advisessupervisor of any complaints at the moment they occur. • Presentsthe bill to the appropriate member/guest. • Verifiesthe correct member's name and membership number on all checks and prints outcheck inquiries at the end of the shift. • Performsclosing duties and reports to the MOD (manager on duty) before dismissal.
