Dishwasher/Prep Worker Rumson Country Club – Rumson, NJ Rumson Country Club is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher/Prep Worker to join our culinary team. This is a year-round opportunity with room for growth and advancement within the organization. Schedule Thursday through Sunday 4:00 PM until close (typically between 10:30 PM and 11:30 PM) Flexible scheduling may be available Responsibilities Operate and maintain the dishwashing area ("Dish Pit") Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment Keep kitchen and work areas clean, organized, and sanitary Sweep and mop kitchen floors Remove garbage and recycling throughout shifts Assist with deep cleaning and scrubbing of kitchen equipment and surfaces Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation, including peeling and preparing vegetables such as carrots, onions, and potatoes Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Assist with other kitchen-related duties as assigned Qualifications Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience is helpful but not required Compensation & Benefits $17.00 - $19.00 per hour, based on experience Free employee meals during scheduled shifts Opportunities for advancement and career growth Year-round employment If you are interested in joining our team, please apply and be prepared to visit the Club to learn more about the position and our culture.
