Job Summary
Pine Valley Golf Club is seeking an experienced and organized Caddie Manager to oversee the daily operations of the club’s caddie program. This role is responsible for recruiting, scheduling, training, and supervising caddies while ensuring members and guests receive exceptional service on the course. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent communication skills and a passion for golf and customer service.
Responsibilities
Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise the caddie staff.
Assign caddies to members and guests based on club policies and player preferences.
Ensure caddies maintain high standards of professionalism, appearance, and etiquette.
Coordinate daily caddie operations with the Golf Professional staff.
Monitor caddie performance and provide coaching and feedback.
Maintain accurate scheduling, attendance, and payroll records.
Address member and guest feedback regarding caddie services.
Assist in developing training programs for new and returning caddies.
Ensure compliance with club policies and safety procedures.
Support golf tournaments and special club events as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
An associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Previous experience managing caddies, golf operations, or hospitality staff preferred.
Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and course operations.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling software is a plus.
Pay: $24.52 - $29.54 per hour
