Lead Player Services
Overview
The Lead Player Services team member is responsible for delivering exceptional service to club members while supporting and overseeing daily golf operations. This leadership role sets the standard for member experience, ensures operational excellence, and maintains the highest levels of professionalism, organization, and course readiness across all player service areas.
Essential Responsibilities
Lead by example in providing a welcoming, service-oriented experience for all members and guests Greet and proactively assist members, anticipating needs to enhance the overall club experience Build and maintain strong member relationships through consistent, attentive, and courteous service Supervise and support Player Services staff to ensure adherence to service standards and daily procedures Coordinate and oversee bag room operations, including handling, storage, and cleaning of golf clubs Manage driving range operations, including picking, cleaning, and presentation of golf balls Ensure golf carts are cleaned, staged, and parked to spotless standards, with proper charging and rotation Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the bag room, golf shop areas, and surrounding facilities Uphold and enforce a neat, professional appearance across all player service areas and team members Assist golf professional staff with daily operations and special events as needed Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills, with a leadership mindset Prior experience in golf operations, hospitality, or a related service environment preferred Solid knowledge of the game of golf and proper golf etiquette Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, outdoor environment Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness, organization, and presentation Dependable, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to work Scheduling Seasonal position running April through November Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Benefits Golf course and practice facility access based on availability and operational needs, with approval from the Director of Golf or Head Golf Professional
