Role Description The Golf Services Staff role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pittsburgh, PA. This role supports daily golf operations, including greeting and checking in golfers, managing tee times, and providing information about course policies and services. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining golf carts, managing practice range setup and cleanup, organizing and staging golf equipment, and assisting with tournaments and special events. Team members help ensure the course and surrounding areas are presentable, support basic irrigation and course care tasks as directed, and coordinate with the golf professional staff to deliver a seamless experience. The role involves consistent interaction with members and guests, requiring proactive customer service, clear communication, and a professional, courteous demeanor. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with members, guests, and coworkers.Candidates should possess practical Golf knowledge, including basic understanding of golf rules, etiquette, and golf operations.Candidates should possess familiarity with Golf Equipment, such as golf carts, bags, clubs, and range equipment, and be able to handle them safely and efficiently.Candidates should possess basic awareness of Irrigation or golf course care practices, or be willing to learn on the job.Additional beneficial qualifications include reliability, attention to detail, ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, standing, walking), and flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.Prior experience in golf operations, hospitality, or customer-facing roles is helpful but not required; a willingness to learn and a positive attitude are highly valued.
