Shuttle Driver

Shuttle DriverThe Shuttle Driver is responsible for safely transporting guests to designated locations throughout Sand Valley while delivering a professional, polished, and service-driven guest experience. Drivers provide transportation between the clubhouse, lodging accommodations, practice facilities, tennis courts, dining venues, and other resort locations. This role requires strong communication skills, sound judgment, operational awareness, and thorough knowledge of resort amenities and the surrounding area. Drivers are expected to operate safely, maintain vehicle standards, and contribute to a coordinated and efficient shuttle system. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely transport guests to and from designated resort locationsAssist guests with loading and unloading luggage and golf equipmentProvide accurate directions and respond to guest questions in a courteous and professional mannerMaintain awareness in pedestrian-heavy areasMaintain consistent communication with the dispatcher and Guest Services leadershipUse assigned radios and communication equipment during each shiftFollow designated routes and operational flow standardsConduct pre-shift and post-shift vehicle inspectionsMaintain vehicle cleanliness and organization throughout the shiftEnsure shuttle amenities, including water coolers, are properly stocked when applicableReport mechanical concerns, damage, or safety issues immediatelyAdhere to department uniform and appearance standardsMaintain professional behavior in guest-facing areasUphold departmental policies related to gratuities, guest interaction, and confidentialityQualifications Excellent customer service and verbal communication skillsAbility to engage guests while maintaining focus on safe vehicle operationAbility to work in a fast-paced and high-demand environmentStrong multitasking and situational awareness skillsValid driver's license with a clean driving recordKnowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practicesPrevious experience operating shuttle vehicles, vans, or buses preferredAvailability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidaysPhysical Requirements Read and write in English Communicate verbally with staff members with or without the use of two-way radios Give and follow verbal and written instructionsVisually inspect vehicle surroundings and work areasOperate vehicles for extended periodsLift up to 50 pounds occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantlyWorking Conditions Sand Valley team members work within a resort environment with both indoor and outdoor work settings.
