About the Role
Old Waverly Club is seeking an experienced Golf Course Superintendent to join its high‑performing agronomy team. This position will oversee the day‑to‑day maintenance and agronomic operations of one of the Club’s two 18‑hole golf courses, Old Waverly or Mossy Oak.
This is a hands‑on leadership position responsible for maintaining exceptional playing conditions while effectively managing people, resources, equipment, and agronomic programs. The ideal candidate will bring strong turfgrass knowledge, excellent communication and people skills, sound problem‑solving ability, and a genuine understanding of golf and playability.
The Golf Course Superintendent will report directly to the Director of Agronomy, Brad Suggs and work closely with the Club’s leadership team to deliver the level of playing conditions expected at one of the South’s premier private golf destinations.
