Role Description The Clubhouse Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Springbrook Country Club in DeWitt, IA. This role oversees daily clubhouse operations, including dining room and bar service, event setup and execution, and coordination with the golf staff to ensure a seamless member experience. The Clubhouse Manager schedules, trains, and leads front-of-house staff, manages inventory and ordering for food, beverages, and supplies, and monitors cleanliness and maintenance of all clubhouse areas. The role includes handling member inquiries and feedback, supporting private events and tournaments, and assisting with basic administrative tasks such as cash handling, point-of-sale oversight, and reporting to club leadership. The Clubhouse Manager is expected to be present during peak hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to ensure smooth operations and consistent service standards. Qualifications Experience in hospitality or club management, including oversight of food and beverage operations and front-of-house service.Skills in staff leadership, including hiring support, training, scheduling, and day-to-day supervision.Strong customer service and communication abilities to interact effectively with members, guests, and team members.Basic administrative and organizational skills, including cash handling, point-of-sale familiarity, and record-keeping.Ability to manage multiple priorities, remain calm under pressure, and resolve issues in a professional manner.Comfort working a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by club activities.Attention to detail in maintaining clubhouse appearance, safety standards, and compliance with relevant policies and regulations.Prior experience in a country club, restaurant, or event venue environment is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in hospitality, business, or related fields is beneficial.
