Position Overview: The Golf Apprentice is a seasonal, entry-level development position designed for individuals who aspire to build a career in golf operations. This role provides hands-on training across all primary golf club departments, offering real-world experiences in daily operations, customer service, and facility management. The Apprentice will gain the skills, knowledge, and leadership foundation necessary to advance into future supervisory roles within the golf industry. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in pro Shop operations, including merchandise support, customer service, and point-of-sale transactions - Understand and update tee sheets while delivering exceptional guest service - Perform outside service duties including; cart staging, cleaning, and bag handling - Support basic golf equipment care and cleanliness standards - Provide support in Food & Beverage service operation as needed - Maintain a professional appearance and uphold club service standards - Learn and apply daily operational procedures across all departments Training & Development Focus: - Structured cross-department training in Golf Operations - Leadership and communication skill development - Exposure to scheduling, guest relations, and operational flow managment - Mentorship from club management team - End-of-season performance review with referral and/or recommendation for advancement opportunities Qualifications - Interest in pursuing a career in the golf industry - Strong work ethic and willingness to learn - Positive attitude and team-first mentality - Strong communication and customer service skills - Ability to work flexible seasonal hours including weekends and holidays - Little to no prior golf industry experience required Position Type Seasonal : Hourly $15-$18 This role is ideal for a motivated individual seeking foundation experience in golf operations with the goal of advancing into a leadership or supervisory position within the industry.
