About St. Davids Golf Club St. Davids Golf Club is a premier private golf club located in Wayne, Pennsylvania, with a rich tradition of excellence in providing exceptional member services since 1897. We pride ourselves on our welcoming atmosphere, including a meticulously maintained clubhouse, golf course, dining, and locker room facilities. In 2026 the Club will unveiled a fully redesigned clubhouse (opening in April) and a completely restored golf course (June), after extensive investment in its facilities. St. Davids is experiencing a banner year, with high volumes of activity and positive member engagement. Position Overview The Manager of the Locker Room facilities is not a custodial role, this is hospitality. This is a vital part of our clubhouse operations team ensuring an organized, and comfortable environment for members and guests. As importantly, this role actively engages members and guests, anticipating their needs and offering assistance that fits the warm, welcoming environment that is special at St. Davids. You remember names, and faces of each member and our regular guests, which makes them feel "at home". Our clubhouse updates include an enhanced Men's Lounge adjacent to the locker room where members and guests relax before and after golf. This include food and beverage service, and serve as another opportunity to provide an exceptional experience for our membership. Part of providing the required member experience, is keeping a clean and tidy locker room. This entails daily cleaning, keeping supplies stocked, and performing shoe cleaning services. The right person will have the opportunity to shape one of the most personal and member-facing spaces in the Club. Own a Space That Members Use Daily You will have full ownership over the presentation, flow, and feel of the locker room and adjoining lounge. Your attention to detail directly shapes how members feel when they arrive and when they leave the Club. Qualifications Must be available weekend days.Previous experience in hospitality or club services preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to providing excellent member service.Detail-oriented and able to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.Basic knowledge of shoe care or willingness to learn (training provided).Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends, holidays, or flexible shifts as needed.Season This is a seasonal position from March through DecemberHours will peak from April through mid-October with reduced hours in the shoulder months.Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods.Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with work load increasing and decreasing based on volume of play at the golf club.Compensation This position includes regular gratuities plus hourly wage. Members and guests tip for services provided and are gracious when receiving exceptional service. This is a high volume private golf club.
