SOUS CHEF

As a Sous Chef, you will be the right hand to our Executive Chef, helping to lead all kitchen operations for our various food outlets, banquet events, and special functions. You will be a leader on the line, a mentor to our staff, and a key player in maintaining the high standards of quality and creativity our members have come to expect.

Key Responsibilities
Kitchen Leadership: Supervise and guide kitchen personnel to ensure our high standards of quality and consistency are met.
Culinary Execution: Oversee the daily preparation of soups, sauces, and specials, ensuring methods of cooking, garnishing, and portioning are perfect.
Inventory Management: Manage food procurement, inventory, and storage with precision.
Service Excellence: Lead the kitchen line during peak service hours, ensuring every order is executed flawlessly.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu development, operational improvements, and personnel management.
Qualifications
5-7 years of experience in food preparation, with demonstrated supervisory skills and a deep understanding of kitchen operations.
A degree from a post-secondary culinary arts program.
A current ServSafe Food safety certification.
The ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and a willingness to work seamlessly with a team.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
