ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following. Other duties may be assignedProvides golf instruction for all ages to include teaching of private lessons, group lessons, and clinics.Responsible for following the Golf Instruction Safety Program, including safety procedures for golf lessons and clinics.Administers the Golf Rockford Certified Instructor program.Develops and administers programs and curriculum for all golf instructional programs.Develops and administers a check in/check out system for all Junior Golf Programs.Sets up and takes down golf classes, organizing stations, and drills.Attends safety training programs and in service as required for continued development.Makes public appearances, speaking engagements and promotional videos as needed.Provides club repair and fitting services as needed.Utilize the Rockford Park District's HRIS system for all HR and payroll-related requirements and to accurately clock in and out for all shifts.Other duties as assigned.

Valid Illinois driver's license.Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with program participants, team members, and partners.Excellent knowledge of the game of golf, golf programs, and events.Ability to troubleshoot problems.Maintains current First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications.Basic knowledge of computers, RecTrac, MS Suite, and Outlook.Ability to provide customers with expert care, sensitive consideration, and efficient service.Ability to teach golf to citizens of all ages.
