Role Description The Teaching Professional role at Jonathan Smith Golf Academy is a full-time Teaching opportunity, at 4 majors Indoor Golf Simulator facility, based in Coral Springs, FL.
The Teaching Professional will provide individual and group golf instruction, including swing analysis, short game coaching, and on-course playing lessons. Responsibilities include designing customized lesson plans, tracking student progress, and adjusting instruction based on each golfer’s goals and abilities. The role also involves educating players on rules, etiquette, and course management, as well as offering guidance on practice routines and training plans. The Teaching Professional will collaborate with colleagues and facility staff, and represent the brand professionally in all client interactions.
Qualifications
• 3–5 years of golf instruction experience
• PGA certification preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Experience creating content for social media
• Knowledge of marketing and business development
• Existing and growing lesson base preferred
Responsibilities:
• Conduct private and group lessons
• Coach junior and adult golfers of all skill levels
