Golf Course Pro Shop Assistant

Kirkwood National Golf Club is an 18 hole semi-private golf course located in Holly Springs, Mississippi. Kirkwood National Golf Club is seeking a mature individual to join our pro shop team. We're looking for someone who wants to grow with us and become an integral part of our golf club family. Position Overview This is a flexible part-time position perfect for someone who values variety in their work schedule and enjoys the golf industry. Hours range from 1-4 days per week depending on operational needs and your availability. This role requires independence, sound judgment, and the ability to represent our club professionally in all situations. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests Handle pro shop operations Manage tee times, golf cart assignments, and course flow Address customer concerns and resolve conflicts professionally and independently Monitor course activity and respond appropriately to on-course issues Maintain pro shop appearance and merchandise displays Work independently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously Handle challenging situations with composure and maturity What We're Looking For Essential Qualifications: Knowledge of golf Previous retail or customer service experience Proven ability to work independently and make sound decisions Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Mature demeanor and professional judgment (even if younger in age) Ability to remain calm and effective in stressful situations Schedule Requirements: Flexible availability including weekends Comfortable with a variable schedule (1-4 days per week) Willing to adjust schedule based on club needs Seeking long-term commitment (minimum 2+ years preferred) What We Offer Competitive starting pay of $12/hour (based on experience) FREE golf privileges and unlimited driving range access Flexible scheduling to fit your lifestyle Opportunity to work in a beautiful golf environment Potential for increased hours and advancement Becoming part of a close-knit team at a respected golf facility Ideal Candidate You're someone who thrives on independence and can confidently handle whatever comes your way.
