We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Pay Range: $12.77 to $20.00 per hour The Golf Club at Lansdowne is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and creative Retail Operations Assistant to work directly with the Director of Retail. This is primarily a behind-the-scenes retail position, not a traditional sales floor role. The ideal candidate will have an eye for visual merchandising, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. After training, we are looking for someone who can recognize what needs to be done, prioritize responsibilities, and take ownership without requiring daily direction. Key Responsibilities - Receive, verify, tag, price, and organize incoming merchandise using the Jonas POS system - Help manage merchandise from arrival through placement on the sales floor - Independently create, refresh, and maintain visually appealing merchandise displays - Determine product placement based on brand, color, category, season, and available space - Maintain an organized receiving area, backstock, and inventory - Assist with inventory and order tracking using Microsoft Excel and our open-to-buy - Support corporate merchandise orders, golf outings, tournaments, and retail events - Assist with product sourcing and vendor communication regarding availability, pricing, orders, and delivery timelines - Track corporate and event orders, including quantities, sizes, logos, customization, and deadlines - Prepare, organize, and merchandise product for mobile shops and golf outings - Assist with post-event inventory reconciliation and merchandise returns - Proactively follow up on outstanding orders, projects, and deadlines - Assist the Director of Retail with additional retail projects and operational needs What We're Looking For - Previous retail, visual merchandising, inventory, or retail operations experience strongly preferred - Strong visual merchandising instincts and the ability to create displays independently - Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail - Self-motivated with the ability to recognize what needs attention and take initiative - Strong sense of ownership, follow-through, and accountability - Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines - Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and Outlook and learning new systems such as Jonas POS - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Interest in retail, merchandising, buying, apparel, or corporate merchandise - Golf knowledge is helpful, but not required Schedule - Part-Time: 20–30 hours per week - $20.00 per hour - Flexible weekly scheduling - Availability to work one weekend day each week is required - Additional flexibility may occasionally be needed for golf outings, tournaments, and corporate events This position is ideal for someone who enjoys the creative and operational sides of retail. You'll gain hands-on experience with visual merchandising, inventory management, buying, open-to-buy, vendor relationships, and corporate and event merchandise. We're looking for someone who asks questions while learning, takes initiative once trained, and takes pride in keeping the Retail operation organized and moving forward.
