Bear Lakes features the world-class Jack Nicklaus Signature "Parkland Style" Lakes Course and the new Davis Love III Signature "American Links" Course - two distinctly different golf courses offering unique architectural and playing experiences. The Club's golf amenities also include a 13-acre double-sided practice facility, five short-game areas, and a membership deeply passionate about the game. Bear Lakes is known as a "player's club," with more than 200 single-digit handicap golfers.

The Jack Nicklaus Signature Lakes Course features strategically placed bunkers, dramatic water features and five sets of tees designed to accommodate golfers of every skill level. The new Davis Love III Signature American Links Course features bold shaping, native grasses and architectural influences from historic courses including National Golf Links and Chicago Golf Club, with design cues associated with Seth Raynor and C.B. Macdonald.

From an agronomic and infrastructure standpoint, Bear Lakes offers a unique opportunity to manage both an established championship course and a newly constructed golf course utilizing the latest turfgrass and irrigation technologies. The Lakes Course features Celebration bermudagrass tees and fairways, TifEagle greens, TifGrand collars and TifSport rough, supported by a Toro Lynx irrigation control system and Watertronics pump system.

The Lakes Course is scheduled for a complete renovation in 2029. The new Burn Course, scheduled to open in December 2026, features TifGrand tees and fairways, Bimini bermudagrass rough and TifEagle greens, supported by a state-of-the-art Rain Bird CirrusPRO/IC irrigation control system and Watertronics pump system.

In 2026, the Club also opened a brand-new Golf Course Maintenance Facility and completed a full replacement of its golf course maintenance equipment fleet
