Position Summary
The Assistant Pro Shop Manager at Hawk’s Eye plays a key role in ensuring the pro shop operates efficiently while delivering an exceptional guest experience. This position supports daily operations, inventory management, and customer engagement in a dynamic hospitality and recreation environment.
Working closely with the Pro Shop Manager, this role helps execute sales strategies, merchandising efforts, and promotional events to drive revenue and guest engagement. The Assistant Manager also supports training and supervising team members to maintain high standards of service and product knowledge.
This role is critical in creating a welcoming and well-organized retail environment that encourages repeat visits and enhances the overall Hawk’s Eye experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in managing daily pro shop operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and assisting with purchases
• Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and organizing merchandise
• Train, coach, and supervise pro shop staff to ensure adherence to service standards and company policies
• Support the Pro Shop Manager in developing and executing sales strategies and promotional events
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail environment
Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service
• Strong customer service skills and a passion for the hospitality industry
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field
• Experience in a golf, recreation, or sporting goods retail environment
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and point-of-sale (POS) software
