We maintain rigorous safeguarding practices to ensure a secure, supportive, and nurturing environment where all students can thrive.<br /> </p><p> </p><p><b><strong>JOB PURPOSE</strong></b></p><p><br />Atlanta International School seeks an experienced and entrepreneurial golf professional to launch and lead the inaugural AISx Golf program. This role will build an innovative model that integrates elite athletic training with rigorous academic pathways.</p><p>The AISx Golf Program Lead will design and implement a high-level golf development program integrated with AIS’ flexible academic pathways while building and growing the program from the ground up.</p><p>The role requires strong coaching expertise, program development experience, and the ability to recruit and mentor high-potential student athletes.<br /><br />This is a short-term contracted position during the AISx Golf program development phase.</p><p>FLSA: Contract Engagement<br />Reports to: Director of Pathways<br />Close Working Relationships: AISx Teachers, Admissions Team, Director of Pathways, and School Leadership</p><p>Contract Start Date: March 16, 2026 <br />Contract End Date: June 5, 2026 (with an opportunity to extend to full time AIS employment)<br />Application Deadline: Rolling (applications will be considered as they are completed)</p><p> </p><p><b><strong>AIS CORE VALUES BASED COMPETENCIES</strong></b></p><ul><li>Commitment to Growth – Seeks continuous self-improvement.</li><li>Collaborative Teamwork – Builds strong, supportive relationships.</li><li>Adaptability – Maintains flexibility and openness to change.</li><li>Inclusivity – Actively welcomes and engages diverse perspectives.</li><li>Empathy – Shows compassion and understanding toward others.</li><li>Intercultural Communication – Communicates effectively across cultures.</li><li>Bias Awareness – Recognizes and mitigates personal biases.</li><li>Task Prioritization – Manages time and tasks efficiently.</li><li>Accountability – Takes responsibility for actions and outcomes.</li><li>Constructive Conflict Resolution – Resolves conflicts in a restorative way.</li></ul><p> </p><p><b><strong>PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION MODEL</strong></b></p><p><br />AIS intends to launch the AISx Golf program through an initial proof of concept phase.</p><p>Phase 1: Program Development and Recruitment<br />The initial phase will focus on program design, recruitment, and operational preparation.</p><p>Timeline: March 16 through June 5, 2026<br />Estimated Commitment: Approximately ten hours per week</p><p>Phase 1 deliverables include</p><ul><li>Development of a comprehensive AISx Golf training curriculum</li><li>Establishment of facility partnerships and practice venues</li><li>Recruitment and evaluation of prospective student athletes</li><li>Design of an integrated academic and golf training schedule</li><li>Execution of an introductory golf camp</li><li>Development of a coaching support structure</li></ul><p>If the pilot phase demonstrates program viability and enrollment targets are met, AIS will consider establishing a future full-time role to lead and expand the AISx Golf program. This role would include ongoing coaching and player development, student athlete recruitment, program administration, partnership development with training facilities, and continued integration of elite golf training with AISx academic pathways.</p><p> </p><p><b><strong>SUCCESS METRICS</strong></b></p><p>Program success will be evaluated based on:</p><ul><li>Enrollment and retention of student athletes</li><li>Collegiate placement opportunities or roster offers</li><li>Secured facility partnerships and operational program delivery</li><li>Program financial sustainability</li></ul>
