About the Role
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team at Sunnehanna Country Club. As the first point of contact for members and guests, you will play a crucial role in providing a warm welcome, managing reservations, and offering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to handle various administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Check-In and Check-Out:
Greet and check in members and guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a seamless experience from arrival to departure.
Reservation Management:
Manage reservations for the club’s amenities, including dining, golf, and events, ensuring proper scheduling and coordination.
Assist guests with booking appointments or reservations and accommodate special requests when possible.
Customer Service:
Answer phone calls and respond to emails, providing information about the club’s facilities, events, membership options, and services.
Address guest concerns or complaints promptly, ensuring a positive resolution and maintaining the club's high standards of service.
Front Desk Operations:
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area.
Administrative Support:
Handle daily administrative tasks
Assist with the coordination of special events, ensuring the front desk is aware of event schedules and guest arrivals.
Member and Guest Relations:
Develop and maintain positive relationships with members and guests, providing personalized service to enhance their experience.
Provide information about upcoming events, activities, and special offers to encourage participation.
Collaboration with Other Departments:
Work closely with other departments (e.g., food & beverage, housekeeping, events) to ensure a smooth and coordinated guest experience.
Relay guest requests or issues to the appropriate department to ensure prompt resolution.
Security and Safety:
Ensure the safety and security of members, guests, and staff by adhering to club policies and procedures.
Monitor the front entrance and ensure that only authorized individuals are allowed access to the club’s facilities.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or front desk operations preferred.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with members, guests, and staff.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Suite) and front desk systems.
Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
Ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints in a calm, efficient, and positive manner.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Knowledge of the country club’s services and amenities is a plus.
