About the Role
The Food & Beverage Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily front-of-house food and beverage operations throughout Southpointe Golf Club. This position provides leadership, supervision, training, and operational support to ensure exceptional member experiences, efficient service delivery, compliance with club standards, and achievement of departmental goals.
The Food & Beverage Operations Supervisor works closely with the Managing Director, Food & Beverage Manager, Executive Chef, Banquet Team, and other department leaders to maintain excellence in service, staffing, member satisfaction, and operational performance.
Duties and Responsibilities

Leadership & Staff Development
Work collaboratively with the Food & Beverage Manager and Club Leadership Team to oversee all food and beverage service operations.
Assist with the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, coaching, and development of front-of-house team members.
Provide daily supervision and leadership to service staff, bartenders, banquet staff, hosts, runners, and support personnel.
Conduct ongoing training to ensure adherence to service standards, policies, procedures, and member service expectations.
Ensure all required company, safety, and compliance training programs are completed and maintained.
Promote a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
Dining & Service Operations
Manage the day-to-day operation of all dining venues and food and beverage service outlets.
Ensure smooth and efficient service during all meal periods, special events, and club functions.
Coordinate closely with kitchen staff to ensure food is delivered accurately, promptly, and according to club standards.
Monitor service execution and make real-time operational decisions to ensure member satisfaction.
Assist with banquet, catering, golf events, tournaments, and special club functions as needed.
Lead by example through active floor presence and hands-on service support.
Member Experience
Consistently provide exceptional service to members and their guests.
Greet members and guests regularly to foster strong relationships and enhance the overall club experience.
Address member concerns, special requests, and service recovery situations professionally and promptly.
Ensure dining room ambiance, presentation, and service levels align with Southpointe Golf Club standards.
Collaborate with leadership to continuously improve member satisfaction and engagement.
Operational Management
Enforce service standards, dress code requirements, appearance standards, and conduct policies.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards throughout all dining and service areas.
Monitor inventory levels of dining room supplies, linens, glassware, china, silverware, and service equipment.
Assist with ordering and inventory control procedures as directed.
Ensure proper opening, closing, cleaning, and side-work procedures are completed daily.
Monitor labor efficiency and staffing levels to support budget objectives while maintaining service excellence.
Point-of-Sale (POS) & Administrative Responsibilities
Become proficient in all club POS systems and related technology platforms.
Train staff on proper POS procedures and ensure accurate transaction processing.
Assist with pricing updates, promotional programming, and inventory-related POS functions.
Generate and review operational reports as requested.
Support budget planning and cost-control initiatives related to labor, supplies, and operational expenses.
Event & Banquet Support
Work closely with the Banquet Team, Event Staff, and Food & Beverage Manager to coordinate service for club events and private functions.
Assist with staffing plans, room setups, service execution, and event logistics.
Ensure all events meet club standards for quality, professionalism, and member satisfaction.
Hands-On Service Responsibilities
Assist with serving, food running, bussing, bartending, and event service when operational needs require.
Maintain a visible leadership presence during peak service periods.
Support all food and beverage outlets as business demands dictate.

Communication & Collaboration
Maintain regular communication with the Managing Director and Club Leadership Team regarding operational performance, staffing needs, member feedback, and service opportunities.
Participate in management meetings and contribute to strategic planning initiatives.
Collaborate with all departments to ensure a seamless member and guest experience.
Qualifications
Private club, hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or resort experience strongly preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Working knowledge of POS systems and inventory controls.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong commitment to member service and hospitality excellence.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as required.
Ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform physical duties associated with food and beverage operations.
This is an hourly compensated position, and pay is commensurate based upon experience.
