Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer

FireRock Golf and Country Club is looking for part-time fitness instructors to teach group fitness classes in the Fountain Hills, AZ area! Fitness Instructor Job Description: As a fitness instructor, you will be teaching group fitness classes at a local FireRock Golf and Country Club location. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping people achieve their health goals, and want to build a strong community of clients and fellow instructors. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching group fitness classes, and will be passionate about the art of fitness. This position requires someone who is flexible, loves to work out, and wants to make a difference in the lives of others. Responsibilities: Develop a safe environment for all participants to exercise safely and comfortably in a safe environment Instruct participants on proper exercises, form, and technique for each class Encourage participation by providing positive feedback and positive energy Build relationships with all participants before and after class Ensure that all exercises are clean & safe for all participants Provide accurate documentation of each class including but not limited to participant progress, modifications, injuries, techniques, and techniques not used within FireRock Golf and Country Club program Attend staff meetings and training sessions as assigned Other duties as assigned by management or program director Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older Must be able to pass a background check & drug test Passionate about helping others achieve their health goals & goals of creating a healthy lifestyle for clients Passionate about education & training for all participants Ability to communicate clearly with both new & current clients Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Flexible schedule Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Experience: Teaching: 1 year (Preferred) Customer service: 1 year (Preferred) Group fitness: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: AED Certification (Preferred) Work Location: In person
