Cabot Citrus Farms
Cabot’s first U.S. destination, Cabot Citrus Farms, is on 1,200 acres of rolling land and will include Cabot’s signature combination of world-class golf, luxury accommodations, and real-estate opportunities. Cabot Citrus Farms will feature four golf courses including two revitalized 18-hole championship courses, a 9-hole course, an 11-hole par 3 course, an 18-hole putting course, and a TrackMan range. It will also include a new clubhouse, a variety of outdoor amenities, and food and beverage offerings. The property is a 50-minute drive from Tampa and an 80-minute drive from Orlando. While close to urban amenities, the property sits in the central-west region of Florida aptly known as the Nature Coast. Visitors will delight in one-of-a-kind experiences including exceptional hiking, biking, and nature trails at neighboring Withlacoochee State Forest, spring-fed rivers and bountiful lakes at Crystal River, and world-class fishing in the Gulf of Mexico.
Position Overview
The Cabot Citrus Farms Head Golf Professional will be instrumental in building on the Cabot legacy of world-leading golf as a key member of our leadership team. You will lead a team of top performers who take pride in delivering an exhilarating golf experience for our guests. In addition, you inspire excellence from all members of the golf operations team. The Head Golf Professional will be responsible for curating and executing an exceptional guest experience. This position is focused on golf operations while working alongside the Golf Professional team, Retail Manager, Caddie Masters, and other department leaders. The Head Golf Professional must be innovative, flexible, and excited to be a part of the growth of Cabot Citrus Farms.

Inspire our world-class team, including all golf operations for Karoo, Roost, The Squeeze, The Wedge, and our TrackMan Range practice facilities, to perform to the highest standard Coordinate the recruitment, hiring, retention, scheduling, and fiscal management of the Cabot Citrus Farms golf operations team members Coordinate with the Caddie Master, Golf Services Supervisors, and caddie yard to ensure excellence in caddie services to Cabot guests is provided, including but not limited to communicating to Caddies any changes/cancellations to tee times Support the Retail Manager and the Golf Shop staff when required, answering guest inquiries, selling retail products, utilizing the POS system to complete transactions Collaborate with the entire resort team to ensure effective communication is executed to ensure excellence in team member and guest experiences Embody a positive attitude and excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Lead by example and be an upstanding citizen in the community

Build strong relationships with our guests and leadership team members Coordinate and oversee golf personnel activities while providing the framework to guide team members in their personal/professional development plans and the positive work culture of Cabot Citrus Farms Promptly assist guests with special on-course inquiries/concerns/complaints and deliver high-quality and timely solutions Assist guests with information on resort amenities, community, and surrounding areas, and directions and ensure team members are equipped to do the same Focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Operational Excellence
Lead the team that provides excellence in service through effective training and implementation of golf operations and standard operating procedures Achieve financial targets at Cabot Citrus Farms while providing the highest service levels Work closely with the Director of Golf to develop and implement organizational efficiencies for the golf operation team Implement policies, including operating procedures, safety, and other policies relevant to the golf operations Lead and oversee the day-to-day golf operations at Cabot Citrus Farms, including all pre-round, on-course, and post-round guest experiences, while ensuring an overall world-class guest experience Manage the golf operations systems efficiently and operate best-in-class practice facilities, golf academy programs, club storage, rental club, and cart fleet management Work flexible hours as required, including early mornings, nights/weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
Minimum of three years Class “A” Golf Professional status within the PGA of America Demonstrated experience and competency in golf operations management and golf event management Minimum of five years of previous leadership experience Demonstrated ability to create and lead an exceptional team in a luxury environment Demonstrated experience and competency in teaching and instruction Proficient in computer software systems. Previous experience in Agilysys Golf, Golf Genius is considered an asset Excellent communication and leadership skills A dynamic, enthusiastic, and innovative leader who thrives under pressure Skilled in service recovery, consistent guest follow-up, and follow-through
Physical Requirements
Ability to spend long hours moving around, walking, sitting, standing, and crouching while performing other duties Ability to work long hours in an office and outdoor setting, potentially exposed to climate extremes such as heat, cold, wind, rain, etc. Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move luggage and objects up to 50 lbs
