About the Role
Overview
To ensure that all routine/preventative maintenance of golf course equipment is completed daily along with performing repairs as needed in an efficient and effective manner, so that optimal course conditions can be achieved.
Specific Responsibilities
Perform all routine/preventative maintenance to golf course equipment daily
Perform any equipment repairs as needed efficiently & effectively
Ensure that all equipment is clean and ready for operation at all times
Maintain daily communication line with the Superintendent & Assistant Superintendent
Keep all service records/logs current
Provide staff with proper instruction for equipment operation and servicing
Enforce proper safety standards in the maintenance shop
Keep all maintenance logs & records current
Keep all service manuals current and accessible
Ensure routine maintenance & repair of golf car fleet
Maintain a clean & orderly work environment
Assist superintendent with equipment research and purchases
Stay current with Federal/State laws & regulations
Communicate with sales representatives & research equipment industry trends
Attend annual turf shows & conferences when applicable
Stay current with GCSAA credits and offerings
Prepare to give equipment briefings at all staff meetings
Uphold & demonstrate the 'Sagamore Way' and Sagamore’s C4F philosophy at all times
Assist Superintendent with course maintenance / grooming when needed
Responsible for oil / gasoline inventories and records
Full time, year-round job. Approximately 40 hours per week
