POSITION SPECIFICS
Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics Golf Courses is seeking a Director of Golf Instruction.
Responsibilities include:
Design implement and oversee all golf instruction programs tailored to all skill levels (private lessons group clinics junior programs etc.) Promote instructional programs through social media email marketing website content and community events. Provide a high standard of customer service to all students and facility patrons. Act as a golf club-fitting specialist and work with our vendors to properly custom-fit our guests. Assist with the Golf Shop counter point of sale operation when needed. Assist with merchandise orders displays and overall sales. Assist with tournaments leagues and events when needed.
MINIMUM EDUCATION WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree
1 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid drivers license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
SALARY & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position including all possible grades is $38300.00 - $55500.00.
