Under general direction and guidelines from the Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent will execute maintenance and work plans in all areas of golf course maintenance. Daily responsibilities include overseeing chemical and fertilizer applications, directing of staff, and assisting in the operation of golf course maintenance and irrigation systems.
Description: Assists the Superintendent in maintaining the golf courses, including greens, fairways, tees, bunkers, roughs, etc. Performs daily inspections of golf courses, clubhouse grounds, and driving range, identifying problems and reporting to the Superintendent. Responsible for staff training and ensuring all tasks are performed according to the job descriptions.
Ensures irrigation systems are in good working order by performing daily inspections and determining when repairs or replacements are needed. When nec
