Toledo Country Club, a prestigious private member club established in 1897, is seeking a personable and service-driven Bartender to join our team on a part-time, seasonal basis.
This role sits at the heart of the TCC member experience. Our Locker Room Bar is a lively gathering spot — open to members and their guests — where people unwind after a round of golf, enjoy a bite from our pub menu, and connect in the relaxed traditions that have defined this club for over a century. We're looking for someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional, personalized service in an intimate, relationship-driven environment.
What You'll Do
Greet and serve club members and their guests in a warm, professional, and attentive manner
Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
Take and deliver food orders from our pub menu in coordination with the kitchen
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area
Learn member preferences and build genuine rapport with a loyal membership base
Uphold the standards, discretion, and professionalism expected at a private club
What We're Looking For
Prior bartending or hospitality experience preferred
TIPS or equivalent responsible alcohol service certification (or willingness to obtain)
Warm, outgoing personality with a natural ability to connect with people
Comfortable managing both bar and table service in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and peak golf season hours
Private club experience a plus, but not required — we'll train the right person
What We Offer
A welcoming, team-oriented work environment
The opportunity to work at one of Toledo's most storied private clubs
Competitive hourly wage plus gratuities
Seasonal hours with potential for continued engagement
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Benefits:
Employee discount
Paid training
Work Location: In person
