Food Runner

## Join Our Team at Troubadour Golf & Field Club We’re looking for a Food Runner to be part of the Food & Beverage Department at Troubadour Golf & Field Club, a private community just 30 miles south of downtown Nashville. This is a part-time, hourly role starting at $15 per hour, plus gratuities, and you’ll help create the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees. ### What You’ll Do Your main responsibility is picking up and delivering food and beverage items to the right tables, on time, and with care. You’ll clear plates, glassware, and silverware throughout service, and make sure tables are tidy—checking water levels and refilling as needed, swapping out silverware, and clearing anything not in use from surrounding areas. When you deliver a dish, you’ll briefly explain what it is and ask if guests need anything else. You’ll also assist the kitchen team to ensure plates are plated correctly per the ticket, with all necessary condiments and sauces. Before each meal period, you’ll prepare the runner station according to the checklist, keep it restocked, clean, and organized. You’ll get to know the menu well so you can answer any guest questions, and you’ll stay up to date on restaurant policies, procedures, training, safety, and security. Following food safety and cleanliness standards is a must, as is attending briefings, meetings, and trainings. Other duties may come up as needed. ### What We’re Looking For We’re seeking someone with a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least three months of experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club. You should know HACCP and local food safety standards, and either have a State Food Safety Certificate or be willing to get one. A solid understanding of food and beverage operations is important, along with extraordinary attention to detail, quality, and service. ### Additional Requirements You’ll need a positive attitude, a professional demeanor, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills to serve members, guests, and team members. Flexibility with work hours is key—evenings, weekends, and holidays are part of the schedule, and longer hours may be required during busy times. You should be comfortable working in a team, staying calm and focused even during the busiest moments. Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) is required; additional languages are a plus.
