Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Club in Camden, Delaware is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Assistant Superintendent to join our team at the Golf and Country Club. In this role, you will work closely with the superintendent to oversee and manage the crew responsible for maintaining the club’s golf course to the highest standards. Your main responsibilities will include supervising the crew, ensuring proper watering and irrigation practices, and coordinating the spray schedule for optimal turf health.
As the Assistant Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the overall appearance and playability of the golf course. You will assist in developing and implementing agronomic practices, as well as monitoring and adjusting irrigation systems to meet the turf’s water needs. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing equipment maintenance and repair schedules to ensure the efficient operation of all machinery.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in turfgrass management, irrigation systems, and crew supervision. A passion for golf course maintenance and a keen eye for detail are essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the superintendent and crew members are also key qualities we are looking for.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s, associates degree, or certificate in Turfgrass Management or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in golf course maintenance
Compensation
$55,000 to $65,000 per year.
