Golf Fitness and Performance Coach Tour Physio & Performance · Easton, MA Full-Time Preferred · Part-Time Considered $55,000 to $75,000 per year + bonus opportunities + benefits Tour Physio & Performance is hiring a Golf Fitness and Performance Coach who wants to build a career in golf performance, not just coach sessions. Why this role is different A real career path. For the right person, this grows into leading our golf performance department: programming, athlete development, staff mentorship and partnerships. Golf-specific education supported. TPI certification is preferred but not required. We'll help the right coach pursue it, with a continuing education stipend on top. Work alongside physical therapists. You'll collaborate with golf-focused PTs every day and help clients move from rehab into high-level performance training. Technology you'll actually use. Force plates, speed and power testing, swing video and TPI screening are part of every assessment. Clients who stay. Our clients train with us for the long term, so you build real relationships and see real progress. Who we work with Around 75% of your caseload will be adult golfers who want to move better, feel better, add speed and distance, and keep playing at a high level. The rest is mainly junior, high school and collegiate golfers, plus athletes progressing from rehabilitation back into performance training. What you'll do Coach individual golf performance 1:1 training sessions Lead adult golf fitness and performance groups Work with junior, high school and collegiate golfers Design individualized strength, mobility, speed and power programs Perform comprehensive Golf Performance Assessments, including mobility, strength, power, balance and coordination testing Use TPI screening principles, force plates and other performance technology Review swing video and identify physical contributors to swing limitations Collaborate with physical therapists, golf instructors and the rest of each athlete's team Communicate clearly with clients about goals, progress and recommendations, and help assessment clients choose the right ongoing program Support client retention and long-term relationships Assist with workshops, events, clinics and partner-facility opportunities Bring ideas for growing our golf performance programs Take part in educational or social media content when interested What we're looking for At least 1 year of hands-on coaching experience. Graduate assistantships, fieldwork and internships count. 2 to 3+ years preferred. A degree, or a degree in progress, in exercise science, kinesiology, strength and conditioning, sports performance or a related field A strong foundation in strength and conditioning principles CSCS or a similar recognized certification (or in progress) A genuine passion for golf and for helping people perform at their best Confidence communicating with both recreational and competitive golfers, and comfort helping clients decide on next steps Energetic, highly personable and able to connect with a wide range of clients Self-directed, organized, dependable and professional Coachable and eager to keep learning Excited to work as part of an interdisciplinary team, and interested in helping grow a golf performance business rather than simply showing up to coach sessions Preferred: TPI certification, experience coaching golfers, and a strong understanding of the physical demands of the golf swing. Candidates with a background in rotational sports who have a genuine passion for golf will also be considered. Schedule Full time preferred; a strong part time candidate may be considered. The schedule combines daytime coaching with some early mornings, some evenings, and roughly 1 to 2 Saturdays per month. Our primary facility is in Easton, MA, with potential opportunities to coach at partner facilities as we grow.
