Golf Course Attendant- Outside Services

Job Title: Outside Golf Services Department: Golf Operations Reports To: Assistant Golf Professional Classification: Non-Exempt Position Overview The position contributes to the success of daily golf operations including participation in the execution of the Vaquero Member experience. Assumes responsibility in working side by side with the outside service team by taking pride in executing the day to day tasks and responsibilities, being helpful, closely working with outside service leaders and the assistant golf professional team on delivering our Member experience, participating in team building exercises, dedication to improving skills and involvement in education opportunities, support with all golf events and activities, relationship building with Members, and following the service standard set forth by Vaquero management. Essential Functions Greets all members and guests by nameDetermines the needs of members and guests through open ended questionsWorks closely with employees in delivering exceptional service in accordance with our written “Practices” for all service experiencesPays attention to presentation and cleanliness in all service areasParticipates in all golf functions in a professional and efficient mannerProvides excellent customer service and assists all Members and their guestsCommunicates with other departmentsPromotes club activities, events, and servicesAssists in the execution of tournaments and eventsAssists in the cart fleet maintenance programAssists in providing service to Members and GuestsAssists in the daily setup and over-all experience at the driving rangeOther duties as assigned by the Assistant Golf Professional and/or Director of GolfEducation/Qualifications · 1 year Customer Service required Golf Experience/Knowledge preferred, but not required · Strong communication and correspondence skills with the ability to maintain sound working relationships and communications with Members, Club Management, fellow workers, and vendors · Good organizational skills and the ability to work closely with and motivate a team.
