Part-Time Seasonal, Hourly, Non-Exempt
III. Reports to:
Grounds Management team
IV. Duties and Responsibilities:
Under direct supervision from the Grounds Management Team he or she will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks including but not limited to:
Walk mowing turf areas using reel and rotary machinesHand raking/edging bunkersOperating small power tools such as; blowers, and trimmersHand trimming around sprinklers and valvesSeeding and soddingFilling of divotsPulling weeds in maintained and native areasVarious shoveling and raking projectsCleaning of equipment and maintenance areasOperating mechanical loaders to move soil, debris, and other materialsRequirements
V. Special Requirements
He or she must have reliable transportation to and from workRequires ability to safely operate trucks and motorized equipment
VI. Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
General Laborers will be required to:
Work extended hours, which includes weekend and holiday shiftsWork outside in all weather conditionsWork on or near heavy machineryStand for extended periods of timeLift a minimum of 50 pounds on a regular basisDo repetitive tasks with few breaksComplete tasks in a timely manner
