Company Overview The Village Club of Sands Point is a private country club on the north shore of Long Island with an 18-hole golf course, golf shop, racquet sports program, pool, and Grille. We provide our members and guests with top-level service to enhance their club experience. Summary We are seeking a Golf Shop Attendant to join our team at The Village Club of Sands Point. This role is vital in ensuring our members and guests enjoy an outstanding customer service experience. The ideal candidate is an outgoing, personable, reliable, and dedicated team player. Candidates should be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Greet and assist members and guests upon arrival.Promote and maintain a welcoming environment.Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the golf shop.Create and maintain merchandise displays to present items in an inviting mannerProvide excellent customer service by addressing members’ questions/concerns.Quality communication skills and able to successfully navigate member/guest phone calls.Support event operations as needed, including tournaments and special events.Qualifications: Strong communication skills and ability to engage with members and guests.Knowledge of golf operations is a plus but not required.Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.Previous point of sale systems experience is a plus but not required.If you are passionate about providing exceptional service in a beautiful setting, we invite you to apply today and become part of our dedicated team at The Village Club of Sands Point!
