Duties - Install new irrigation systems, including piping, sprinklers, controllers, and automated control systems to ensure efficient water usage across the course - Perform routine irrigation maintenance and system repairs to prevent breakdowns and optimize performance - Troubleshoot system issues using electrical diagnostics and system troubleshooting techniques to identify faults quickly - Conduct excavation work for installation projects or repairs, utilizing hand tools and power tools safely and effectively - Manage irrigation schedules through automated control systems to maintain optimal turf health and landscape appearance - Collaborate with landscaping teams on soil science principles to support healthy turf growth and landscape maintenance - Execute irrigation system repair projects promptly to minimize downtime and water waste Experience - Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience working on irrigation equipment, systems, and related machinery - Experience managing new irrigation system installation projects from start to finish - Strong background in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting electrical components within irrigation controls - Familiarity with excavation techniques using hand tools and power tools for underground piping or system upgrades - Knowledge of landscaping practices, lawn care, horticulture, and soil science relevant to golf course maintenance - Customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and vendors regarding system needs or issues - Prior experience in irrigation management or maintenance within a golf course or large-scale landscape setting is highly desirable Join us in delivering excellence on the greens Your technical expertise combined with your passion for outdoor maintenance will help create a stunning environment that golfers love.
