ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - Perform various cleaning tasks including, but not limited to: - Washing dishes using dishwasher. - Washing pots and pans in three-compartment sink. - Cleaning walls. - Sweeping and mopping floors. - Bus tables as assigned. - Clean and maintain dining room floors, tables, chairs and walls. - Sort silverware and stock table supplies. - Keep shelves (utensils, vats, etc.) and bussing station organized. - Assist with food preparation as required. - Assist guests as requested. - Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS - Prior food and beverage experience helpful, but not required. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong problem solving and decision making abilities. - Able to perform well under stressful conditions. - Able to follow directions and adhere to policies. - Self-motivated and dependable. - Friendly, outgoing personality. - Neat, professional appearance. - Team player. UNIVERSAL REQUIREMENTS - Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures. - Regular attendance and punctuality. - Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required. - Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel and encourage others to do the same. PHYSICAL DEMANDS - Mobility throughout the facility. - Able to lift up to 100 pounds on a frequent basis. - Able to bend, stoop and twist on a frequent basis. - Able to stand for extended periods of time. - Able to walk extensively. - Able to move dining room furniture. - Able to tolerate heat and humidity. - High level of physical endurance.
