Equipment Manager

As an Equipment Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing the various equipment used on a golf course. Your responsibilities will include inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing machinery such as mowers, tractors, and utility vehicles, blowers, chainsaws, etc. You will also be responsible for keeping detailed maintenance records, ensuring all equipment is sharp, safe and in optimal working condition. Additionally, you may assist in managing inventory and purchasing replacement parts. Working closely with the Superintendent, Assistant superintendent, and other staff members, you will help coordinate equipment maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency. Attention to detail and a strong mechanical aptitude are essential in this role. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various types of turf equipment. This position requires good communication skills to coordinate with the golf course superintendent, assistant superintendent, and other team members. A strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are also critical for success in this role.
