About the Role
*Position Overview:**
The **Bag / Cart Attendant** at Union Country Club is responsible for delivering exceptional member and guest service while supporting daily golf operations. This position plays a key role in creating a hospitable and premiere environment by managing golf carts, caring for golf bags and equipment, maintaining practice facilities, and ensuring the overall readiness of the golf experience at the club.

*Key Responsibilities:***Member and Guest Service:**
o Greet members and guests promptly, professionally, and courteously.
o Assist with loading and unloading golf bags.
o Provide information about tee times, course conditions, and club amenities.
o Maintain a high standard of service that reflects the prestige of a private club environment.
*Cart & Bag Management**Prepare, stage, and clean golf carts before and after use.Ensure carts are fully charged, fueled (if applicable), and in safe working condition.Manage bag storage, tagging, organization, and retrieval.Clean and maintain golf clubs upon completion of rounds.*Practice Facility Duties**Set up, maintain, and break down practice range areas.Collect, clean, and restock range balls throughout the day.Ensure practice tees, targets, and amenities are neat and properly arranged.*Course & Facility Support**Monitor and maintain cleanliness around the cart barn, bag room, staging area, and surrounding grounds.Assist golf staff with tournament preparation and on-course operations as needed.Report safety issues, maintenance concerns or equipment issues promptly.*Qualifications:**
· Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, member-focused environment.
· Comfortable working in an outdoor environment in varying weather conditions.
· Reliable, punctual, and capable of working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Available for flexible scheduling based on club events, weather and operational needs.
· Prior golf or hospitality experience is a plus but not required.
· Basic knowledge of golf is preferred; willingness to learn is essential.

*Physical Requirements:**Ability to stand, walk, and walk the golf course for extended periods
· Ability to 40-50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day
Ability to lift and carry golf equipment, including clubs and bagsAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions*Work Environment:**This position runs during the primary golf season (spring through fall).The position requires a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak golf seasons*Employee Benefits:**
