REPORTS TO: Director of Golf Course & Property and Assistant Superintendent(s) POSITION SUMMARY: Performs all tasks related to the maintenance and care of the golf course and surrounding property as directed by the management team. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Participates in a wide range of daily golf course maintenance activities, including course preparation, mowing, equipment operation, hand-watering, renovations projects, etc. • Demonstrates a high level of safety awareness, compliance, and accountability across all operations • Maintains a neat work area and properly cleans and cares for all equipment • Reports all equipment and/or safety issues to supervisor(s) • Understands and applies the relationship between golf course maintenance practices and overall golf course playability • Communicates professionally with staff, members, and guests while representing Crystal Downs • Performs other job-related duties as assigned PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Golf course maintenance experience or similar setting (not required) • Positive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to lead by example and assist in all areas of the operation • A desire to continuously enhance skills, and a commitment to professional growth • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining exceptional course conditions JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform the physical demands associated with golf course maintenance • Reliable transportation and possession of a valid driver’s license
