Overview
The Head Golf Professional is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the golf operations while ensuring exceptional guest experience, operational efficiency, and financial performance. This position will lead daily operations and uphold the high standards established by Maxim Golf Solutions.
Experience Required
2-3 years of proven leadership experience as an assistant professional or head golf professional Strong background in golf operations, merchandising, and hospitality Excellent communication and organizational skills Financial management and budgeting experience preferred Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
Essential Responsibilities
Oversee all Golf Shop and daily play operations Manage merchandising strategies and maintain an effective open-to-buy plan Supervise outside operations to ensure exceptional service standards Direct and oversee Food & Beverage operations Maintain consistent, professional communication with the Golf Course Superintendent and General Manager to ensure seamless course operations Maximize profitability while controlling operational expenses Develop and lead the pro shop staff through training, scheduling, and performance management Foster a positive culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and guest satisfaction Monitor and improve operational efficiencies across the department
