About the Role

The role of Front of House Manager is a full time management position. This position requires a professional, self starter candidate who is good at multi tasking and working with staff and members to represent the club in the highest regard. Work schedule fluctuates based on business needs and requires days, nights, weekends, and some holidays. This is an entry level management position that is a great springboard into other positions for Food and Beverage, as well as opportunity to advance within the company.
Responsibilities include:
Opening or closing the food and beverage department and the clubhouse depending on the shift worked.
Overseeing all Front of House operations from in house events to a la carte member dining.
Ordering supplies, beer, liquor, wine and n/a beverages in tandem with the Food and Beverage Manager and Assistant General Manager.
Coaching front of house and banquet staff if necessary.
Being involved in hiring and training of Front of House and Banquet staff.
Work with Chrono Golf software to learn configuration and reporting tools to better inform decision making.
Participating in service with the staff, expediting food and beverages, helping greet tables, helping servers bus and reset tables if needed, helping keep all Front of House storage areas clean and organized daily.
Keeping the FoH staff informed of changes, updates, and all information pertinent to the success of the restaurant.
Informing General Manager, Food and Beverage Director and Chefs of any member feedback that pertains to food and beverage.
Additional duties deemed necessary by the Food and Beverage Director.

High School Diploma or Equivalent GED
Required Experience: 3-5 years in Food and Beverage operations.
Preferable Experience: 1-2 years in a private club or country club environment.
Direct Reports: Front of House staff and Banquet Staff
Reports To: Food and Beverage Director
