Head Coach - Golf

Head Golf Coach Henry Ford College presents an opportunity for a Head Golf Coach in the Athletics Department. The Head Coach provides leadership and direction for a competitive intercollegiate program at Henry Ford College (HFC). HFC operates its athletic program with integrity and in full compliance with institutional, conference and National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) guidelines. HFC sponsors seven sports at the NJCAA Division II level and competes in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) Eastern Division. HFC sports include: baseball, men's and women's basketball, golf, softball, volleyball and wrestling. This position reports to the Director of Athletics and is responsible for Team Members. Core Competencies and Qualifications Bachelor's degree. Coaching or playing experience at the high school or club level. Valid Michigan driving record required. Preferred Qualifications: Coaching experience at the intercollegiate level. Playing experience at the intercollegiate level. Knowledge of NJCAA rules and regulations relating to recruitment and eligibility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities including but not limited to Conduct program in compliance with Rules of Conduct for Athletic Department staff. Recruit players, select team and maintain appropriate coaching schedule. Educate players on and hold them accountable for, upholding ethical behavior and academic standards of HFC. Coordinate one Community Service outreach event as approved by the Athletic Director. Develop and maintain a work schedule (administrative availability, practices and games).
