Golf Professional

Golf Galaxy seeks a Golf Professional to deliver best‑in‑class golf instruction, custom club fitting, and outstanding customer service in our Sports & Recreation department. You will coach players of all levels, run clinics, analyze swing data using launch monitors, and recommend gear that improves performance. Partnering with store leadership, you’ll drive lesson revenue, grow repeat business, and maintain a welcoming, inclusive environment. Ideal candidates have strong teaching experience, knowledge of equipment technology, and a passion for growing the game and delighting customers. Provide individual and group golf instruction to players of all skill levels Conduct custom club fittings using launch monitors and fitting systems Evaluate swing mechanics and create tailored improvement plans Educate customers on equipment technology, rules, and etiquette Support sales by recommending appropriate clubs, balls, and accessories Organize and lead clinics, demos, and in‑store events to grow participation Maintain fitting bays, teaching areas, and equipment in top condition Track lessons, fittings, and sales metrics to meet or exceed targets Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising and customer experience Uphold a safe, inclusive, and service‑oriented environment Golf instruction and coaching Swing analysis Custom club fitting Use of launch monitors (e.g., TrackMan, Foresight) Golf equipment and technology knowledge Retail sales and upselling Customer relationship management Event and clinic coordination Basic POS and scheduling systems Communication and interpersonal skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k PGA Class A or Associate Membership (preferred) USGTF or similar teaching certification (preferred) Club-fitting certifications from major manufacturers (preferred) CPR/First Aid (helpful)
