Golf Instructor (Part-Time)

<p>The Golf Instructor role will instruct Topgolf Guests in golf skills in individual lessons or in groups, conduct youth academies, and provide instruction &amp; guidance for large group events. The Golf Instructor will be responsible for hitting specific lesson booking/revenue targets &amp; utilization goals on a recurring basis.</p> <p> </p> <p>This position will be a part time role that is expected to work 15-25 hours per week, the majority of which will be spent teaching. Instructors that succeed in the role may be considered for full time instruction positions.</p> <p><br /><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br /><br /></p> <p>• Coordinate, schedule and teach Guest lessons and classes<br />• Utilize swing analysis technology and learning theories, and integrate teaching aids in all programs<br />• Assist in the operation of Topgolf Kids Academies<br />• Serve as a golf professional for Topgolf Events and Tournaments<br />• Work with the events team to promote lessons at Topgolf events<br />• Walk the tee line to generate leads and bookings (when not engaged in golf instruction)<br />• Supervise information requests regarding or pertaining to scheduling of lessons and instructional series<br />• Perform club fittings &amp; sell golf equipment to Topgolf Guests and Students</p> <p><br /><strong>Qualifications</strong><br /><br /></p> <p>• Bachelor’s degree preferred<br />• 1-2 years experience teaching golf lessons with experience coaching different levels of golfers<br />• PGA Membership a plus<br />• Proven track record of successful instruction<br />• Social and interpersonal skills required to interact with all Topgolf Guests<br />• Familiarity with swing analysis technology and launch monitor technology<br />• Ability to work on a team<br />• Energetic and enthusiastic<br />• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions for extended periods of time<br />• Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays<br />• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time including maneuvering up and down stairs</p> <p> </p> <p><em>Topgolf participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S.</em></p>
