Beverage Cart Attendant
Summary: The Beverage Cart Attendant is responsible for providing friendly, efficient, and professional food and beverage service to Club members and guests throughout the golf course. This position operates and maintains the beverage cart, takes and fulfills food and beverage orders, processes transactions, maintains appropriate inventory levels, and ensures the cart and service areas are clean, organized, and properly stocked.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Operate the beverage cart safely and efficiently throughout the golf course, adhering to golf course rules, etiquette, and safety protocols while minimizing disruption to golfers and their play.
· Greet and welcome Club members and guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner, providing attentive and gracious service throughout their visit.
· Take and fulfill food and beverage orders, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and snacks.
· Process member and guest transactions accurately through the Club’s point-of-sale system, including charging member accounts and accepting credit cards or other forms of payment as required.
· Monitor and replenish inventory levels of beverages, food items, ice, cups, napkins, condiments, and other supplies.
· Maintain the beverage cart in a clean, organized, well-stocked, and presentable condition throughout the day, including sanitizing surfaces and removing trash and waste.
· Store and handle food and beverages at appropriate temperatures in accordance with applicable health, sanitation, food handling, and safety requirements.
· Communicate member concerns, service issues, and other relevant information to the appropriate Food & Beverage or Golf Operations team member.
· Complete opening and closing procedures, including preparing the cart for service, securing products, reconciling charges, and ensuring the cart is clean and ready for the next operating period.
· Maintain knowledge of Club dining options, beverage selections, pricing, golf course operations, Club events, and applicable policies and procedures.
· Assist with golf tournaments, outings, special events, and other Club functions as assigned.
· Collaborate with Food & Beverage, Golf Operations, and other Club departments to support efficient operations and provide an exceptional member and guest experience.
· Adhere to all Club policies and procedures related to guest service, safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol service, food handling, and golf course operations.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
License Requirements: Valid Driver’s License with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR). Operator’s license must be valid for a minimum of 3 years (excluding learner’s permit). Must be able to pass Club’s insurability guidelines.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, push, pull, bend, stoop, twist and turn. The employee is occasionally required to kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, including heat, humidity, direct sunlight, wind and varying weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
